Why do we need to exercise during pregnancy?

Gentle exercise regime is highly recommended during pregnancy. Given below are some reasons why we need to exercise during pregnancy.



1. Moderate exercises will not only help in easing the painful muscle cramps, but also add to the overall strength and flexibility of the body.

2. Stiffness in the back and calves is most often seen in pregnant women, for this a placid work out does wonders.

3. Exercising is beneficial in strengthening your muscles which will help in carrying the  body weight easily without putting excess pressure on the knees and feet.

4. A strong body and a peaceful mind will ease the challenge of child birth.

5. An active body being more flexible gets back into shape post pregnancy faster than a passive body.
