Rules Of Safe Pregnancy Exercises



Pregnancy is a very delicate phase one has to be extra cautious all thru, be it exercises or food intake everything has to be given extra thought. Exercising will help you become fitter and stronger for labor and also keep you positive and calm. But make sure complete precaution is taken while doing workouts.
There are certain rules one has to follow before beginning any workout session during pregnancy.

Rules for safe pregnancy exercises

1. Permission of your Gynecologist.
For a healthy person who has been active always will have no discomfort in continuing their activities even during pregnancy. But following the advice of your doctor is primary. There are certain positions which are to be avoided in such times. So taking advice and following your doctor’s instructions to the T is vital

 2.Making sure you are eating nutritious food as well as eating more than your regular intake. When you’re pregnant you are eating not only for you but for your baby too. Make sure your meals are well loaded with all nutrients. Your body will need all the possible calcium proteins and carbohydrates. Especially if you want to exercise and be active, make sure you are fueling your body with good food.

 3. Taking precaution while workouts.
Precaution is a must during and after pregnancy. You just cannot afford to be careless. Taking care while doing workouts, not stretching yourself beyond limits, making sure you have not put yourself at any risk of falling slipping or getting hurt is a definite must.
Please keep in mind it is not just you now it is also your baby who you have to be cautious for.

4.Wearing comfortable attire as well as well fitted and comfy footwear.

Loose and comfortable clothes is also very important, it will help in keeping your body cool and ease while breathing. Tight and uncomfortable clothes will suffocate you and also make you irritable. Foot wear has to be selected very sensibly. Soft comfy foot wear will keep you relaxed and also give cushioning to your feet and help in reducing foot swelling. High heels or uncomfortable foot wear to be strictly avoided. Not only will they induce more pain and add to the swelling but they also will keep you at risk of tripping.
Nowadays special clothes and footwear for pregnant women are available in all the leading stores, make sure you buy some beautiful stuff to make you feel good about yourself.

5. Keeping yourself well hydrated.
Water is like a medicine to you. Make sure you drink plenty of it. Water will help in washing out your body toxins. While exercising you tend to loose water from the body , so replacing it becomes mandatory.

Keeping your body well hydrated is very very important. Juices, coconut water, shakes are also a good source of vitamins to keep your body nutritional and well hydrated.
