Common Ailments in Pregnancy

Pregnancy comes with some kind of discomfort each one's pains and ailments will differ from the other. In rare cases there is no kind of pain discomfort nothing that is because they are healthy due to good eating habits, active lifestyle. But nearly every other woman is known to face some or the other problem. The most commonly seen ailment and pain during pregnancies are given below

1. Abdominal pain- It is very common and seen in many especially in the second and third trimester. This is fine as long as it is bearable if the pain is too much and you see some spotting please go to your doctor immediately. The reason for the abdominal pain is because your baby is expanding and creating more pressure on the bladder and uterus.

2. Morning sickness - Seen most in the first and second trimester it is something nearly 90% of pregnant women face. There is no medicine to deal with it except eating well, make sure you eat at regular intervals to keep your glucose levels normal. Drink a lot of fluids and eat food that are fresh healthy and not heavy on your stomach.

3. Tiredness- Happens to most women the best way to deal with it is to lie down or rest it out whenever you feel fatigued. Make sure you are sleeping properly and resting well as that is the only solution to deal with tiredness and also make sure you are consuming enough calcium to keep your body strong.

4. Sensitive Breast - In the first trimester this happens a lot when you feel a certain kind of heaviness and tingling sensation around your breast. Many get the tenderness even before they have been tested positive for pregnancy, it is one of the earliest signs of pregnancy. Nothing you can do accept wear more comfortable and soft cotton bras and ditch the underlines till sorted.

5. Constipation- Progesterone can lead to constipation but this can be handled if you are eating healthy fiber rich diet and consuming ample water. Maintain a disciplined food and work out regime and constipation will be taken care off.

6. Back aches - The expansion of your abdomen and postural changes can lead to severe back soreness and pain, the only way to deal with it to do some light stretches to add strength to your back. If while lying down you still feel uncomfortable due to the pain you can use a pillow or a cushion to place below your buttocks and knee. Giving your back some ice pack treatment will also give you some relief.

7. Swollen ankles and feet - This is because your stomach is growing and putting a lot of pressure on your tiny feet this can lead to feet swelling. Make sure you don't unnecessarily stand for longer hours and if you are sitting keep your feet at an elevation. Giving ice pack treatment on the swollen area to reduce the swelling and pain is the best way to deal with it. And please wear comfortable footwear avoid high and uncomfortable heels as it will aggravate your pain.

8. Headaches- It is common to get a headache in pregnancy especially in the first trimester. The headache is related to stress, fatigue, drop in sugar levels and dehydration, for which by now I hope you know what to do . Still I will repeat eat well drink plenty of water eat at regular intervals and rest whenever you feel tired just sleep.

These are some of the common problems you face there can be more as long as the discomfort is bearable then it's fine but if you are suffering more than do not hesitate to talk to your doctor immediately.
